Gregory Scott Marty

Gregory Scott Marty, age 40, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at his home. He was born August 3, 1971, in Florissant, Mo., the son of J. Lou Marty of St. Louis and Terri R. Marty of Fulton. Greg attended South Callaway and Fulton Schools achieving his GED in 1989. He attended Vatterott Vocational College in St. Louis until too ill to continue. In addition to his parents he will be lovingly remembered by two daughters, Sarah and Kylee Aylsworth of St. Joseph, Mo.; two brothers, Louie Marty and Donald Dillard of Fulton; grandfather, Gerald E. Gilman and his wife Marcia Custer of Edwardsville, Ill.; aunts and uncles; cousins; many nephews and nieces and one great-nephew. A Memorial Tribute was held at 5 p.m. on Sun. Oct. 2nd, for family and close friends. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Compassus of Columbia, the American Cancer Society, First Baptist Church of Fulton or the charity of the donor's choice.
