Terry Lynn Morris

Terry Lynn Morris, 59, of Auxvasse, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Audrain Medical Center. He was born January 31, 1952, in Mexico, Missouri, the son of the late William Orlie Morris and Alma Rentha (Benskin) Morris. Terry had worked as a truck driver for Wolfmeier Trucking, APAC and Schafer Trucking. He was a member of the Grand Prairie Baptist Church in Auxvasse, Missouri. He was an avid Harley rider, fisherman and hunter. He loved music and spending time with his family. He was a great husband, friend and dad; everyone could always count on him. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Mary Peggy George-Morris of the home; four sons, Travis Porter-Morris of Los Angeles, California, Timothy (Austina) Morris of Silex, Missouri, Randy (Tonia) George of Kansas City, Missouri and Tony (Audrey) George of Lee's Summit, Missouri; four daughters, Michelle (Michael) Berger of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Trisha Ann Morris of Los Angeles, California, Jill George of St. Louis, Missouri and Angel Richardson of Auxvasse, Missouri; eight grandchildren, Briana, Justin, Emily, Clayton, Audrey, Brendan, Darilyn and Tate; one brother, Bill (Ava) Morris of Wellsville, Missouri; five sisters, Barbara Whitworth, Debbie Moore, Sheila (John) Long, Jan (Jerry) Senevey and Brenda (Noel) Crawford; and numerous nieces and nephews. His parents and one brother-in-law, Wayne Whitworth, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Missouri, with Reverend Ben Taylor officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Auxvasse Cemetery.
