Daisy Ruth LaRue
Daisy Ruth LaRue, 98, of
Laddonia, passed away on
June 11, 2011, at Pin Oaks
Nursing Home in Mexico.
She was born July 22,
1912, in Laddonia, the
daughter of David Sutton
and Amelia Ann Novey
Christopher.
Daisy was married to F.
Clark LaRue on March 18,
1933, in Laddonia and he
preceded her in death on De-
cember 17, 1982.
She was a lifetime area
resident and member of the
Laddonia Baptist Church.
She was a 1930 graduate of
the Laddonia High School
and recently attended her
80th class reunion. She was
a member of the Laddonia
Rebekah Lodge, the West
Cuivre Homemakers Club,
the Laddonia Eastern Star
and the Merry Rummy Club.
She volunteered at Audrain
Medical Center for several
years. She enjoyed cooking,
canning, gardening and
spending time with her fami-
ly.
Survivors include two
sons and their wives, Larry
and Helen LaRue of Rush
Hill, and Elwood and Beverly
LaRue of Laddonia; two
daughters and their
husbands, Barbara and Ed
Brandt of Fulton, and Janet
and Buddy Wieberg, of
Martinsburg; one daughter-
in-law, Debra LaRue of
Wilmington, N.C.; 17
grandchildren, Randy LaRue
of Bangkok, Thailand, Karen
Overstreet of San Antonio,
Texas, Anthony LaRue of
Dillon, Mont., Chris LaRue
of Pelion, S.C., Darren
LaRue of Brookville, Ohio,
Forrest LaRue of Prior,
Mont., Beth Colley, Brooke
Smith and Keith LaRue, all
of Mexico, Brett Smith of
Fulton, Wayne LaRue of
Monroe City, Adam LaRue of
Wilmington, N.C., Jennifer
Wieberg, and Kayley
Wieberg, both of Columbia,
Troy Wieberg of Orlando,
Fla., Kara Norman of
Martinsburg, and Scott
LaRue of Raymore; 45 great-
grandchildren; and eight
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in
death by three sons, Donald,
Clyde and Terry LaRue; five
brothers, Howard, Clarence,
Walter, Calvin and Carl
Christopher; and two
sisters, Mattie Derrick and
Elsie Sprecklemeyer.
Visitation will be Tuesday,
June 14, 2011, from 6 to 8
p.m. at Bienhoff Funeral
Home in Laddonia.
Services will be Wednes-
day, June 15, 2011, at 11
a.m. at the funeral home
with Forrest, Chris, Darren
and Anthony LaRue
officiating. Burial will be in
Laddonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her
grandsons.
Memorial contributions
may be made to the
Laddonia Cemetery Associa-
tion.
