George Wesley Giboney
George Wesley Giboney,
61, of Hallsville, died on
Wednesday June 8, 2011, at
his home.
Mr. Giboney was born on
July 19, 1949, in Fulton, a
son of Marvin Earl Giboney
and Letha Ann (Burry)
Maddox.
On February 22, 1968, in
Centralia, he married Bonnie
Sue Knox, who survives him
at their home.
Mr. Giboney was
employed by Columbia
Public Schools as a
Carpenter foreman.
He served in the U.S.
Army from 1968 to 1974.
In addition to his wife,
Bonnie Sue, he is survived
by his mother, Letha Ann
Maddox, Fulton; three broth-
ers, Marvin Giboney and
wife Mary Lou, Fulton,
Harold Giboney and wife
Brenda, Fulton, Oscar
Maddox and wife Carrie,
Trinity, Alabama; two sisters
Patricia Wright and husband
Robert, Saundra Edwards
and husband Jerry, all of
Fulton; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his dad, Marvin;
grandmother, Delcie Burry;
and one brother, Richard
Giboney.
Funeral Services will be
Friday, June 10, 2011, at
10:00 a.m. at Pickering
Funeral Home with Rev.
Mike Crowson officiating.
Memorials may be given
to Harmony Baptist Church
in Fulton. They may be sent
in care of Pickering Funeral
Home, 403 N. Western,
Mexico, Mo. 65265.
