Mary Lurine Cloven
Mary Lurine "Red" Cloven,
age 66, departed this life
Monday, June 6, 2011,
surrounded by family and
friends.
She was born in Alton,
Mo., Oregon County, on
September 2, 1944.
Lurine was a waitress at
Scotts Corner for the Tillers
for several years. Then she
worked at shoe factories at
Mexico, Jonesburg and Ful-
ton, Mo. She was an avid St.
Louis Cardinal fan. She also
dearly loved Elvis Presley
music and had a large collec-
tion of Elvis mememtos.
Most of all, Lurine had a
very loving heart and was
there for her friends and
family.
Lurine is survived by her
mother, Anna Lucille
VanWinkle, Mexico; her
daughter, Tammy Renay
Cloven and life partner
Elizabeth Chapman of Clark,
Mo.; Lurine's life partner,
Vicki Behrens of Auxvasse,
Mo.; two brothers, Frank
Cloven, Mexico, Wayne Clov-
en (Fern), Thayer, Mo.; three
sisters, Beulah Camp
(Robert), and Carmalee
Lewallen (Ed) both of
Martinsburg, Carol Crab-
tree(Hervil) of Mexico; and
special friends, Christy
Singleton and Jodi Behrens;
17 nieces and nephews; two
great-great nephews; one
great-great niece; and one
aunt, Frances Owens, Alton,
Mo. Also she had many,
many friends.
Lurine was preceded in
death by her father, Brents
Cloven; sister-in-law, Rita
Cloven; step-father, George
Van Winkle; brother-in-law,
Leo Risenhoover; niece,
Robin Marie Camp; nephew,
Leo Robert Risenhoover; and
several uncles and aunts.
Services will be at
Arnolds Funeral Home,
Mexico, Mo. at 2:30 p.m. on
Saturday, June 11,
2011.Visitation will be from
1:30 until time of service.
Burial will follow at the
Elmwood Cemetery.
The Reverends Russell
Camp, Wayne Cloven, and
Larry Baitinger will conduct
the services. Lurine had
accepted Jesus Christ as her
savior before her death.
Pallbearers will be Leo
Don, Kevin, Robert, Steven,
Rusty and Jarrett
Risenhoover.
Honorary pallbearers will
be Jeffrey, Lloyd and Terry
Camp, Michael, Roni Ann,
Malissa, Stacey and Wayne
Cloven, Christopher Cloven,
Kimberley Walker, Stephanie
Cloven, Kim Hurd, Kelsay
and Caleb Crabtree, Kaleigh
Phelps, Jacki Hurd, Joshua
Hill, Zac Stubblefield,
Brandy Gar, Jil Chailland,
Angelia and Charity Fox.
Connor Phelps will be a
special honorary pallbearer.

Assoc., or American Cancer
Society.
