Jesse Raymond Womack Sr., 63, of Fulton, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Boone Hospital Center. He was born July 22, 1948, in Fulton, the son of Raymond "Doc" and Elsie (Prouty) Womack. He was united in marriage to Annette (Merriman) Womack, who survives at their home. Jesse had worked as a truck driver for Hunt's Concrete Company. He was a member of the Handyman Club. He loved hunting, fishing, the outdoors, bluegrass gospel and his family. In addition to his wife and mother, Elsie Burrow of Fulton, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Michael (Amanda Heck) Merriman of Mexico; four daughters, Robin (Dan) Smith of Everette, Washington, Lisha (Wayne) Galbreath of Fulton, LaRae Womack of Fulton, and Patsy (Richard Curtis) Hunziker of Fulton; 14 grandchildren; one great- grandchild; three brothers, Clyde Womack of Holts Summit, David Womack of Calwood, and Donnie Womack of Fulton; and four sisters, Betty Vaughn of Calwood, Dorothy Wells of Fulton, Ruby Ellis of Calwood, and Evelyn Cavins of Jefferson City. His father, one son, Jesse Raymond Womack Jr., and one daughter, Laura Lea Womack, preceded him in death. Celebration of Life Services will be from noon to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011, at VFW Post 2657 in Fulton. The family requests no flowers.
