Beulah Leigh Chirnside, 76, of Fulton, Mo., passed away Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Boone Hospital Center. She was born July 25, 1934, in Fulton, Mo., the daughter of the late William Ernest and Martha Elizabeth (Harrison) Taylor. On June 10, 1956, she was united in marriage to Stanley R. Chirnside, who survives at their home. Leigh retired April 27, 1994, after 25 years from the Cedar Creek Ranger District, Mark Twain National Forest Service where she worked as an office manager. She had also worked at Danuser Machine Company and William Woods College. She was a member of the Court Street United Methodist Church, Fulton Country Club and the Callaway Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and traveling with friends In addition to her husband of 55 years, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one daughter, Leigh Ann Love and her husband Danny of Fulton, Mo.; one granddaughter, Danielle Leigh Love of Fulton, Mo.; and two brothers, Ernest Ray Taylor and his wife Carol and Ronald Nixon Taylor and his wife Eu Jane. Her parents and three sons preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 25, 2011, at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Mo., with Reverend Emily Carroll and Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Monday at Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton, Mo. Entombment will be held at the Callaway Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
