Lula Mae Glover, 87, of Fulton, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at the University Hospital, Columbia. She was born March 26, 1924, in Hatton, the daughter of Benjamin and Evelyn Smallwood Buckner, who preceded her in death. Lula Mae was married to John "Wilbur" Glover on July 29, 1946 in Fulton. He survives at the home. She attended school in central Callaway County. She worked as a Supervisor of Food Services for Bingham Hall at the University of Missouri-Columbia where she retired in 1989 after 26 years of service. She was later employed with Gasper's Restaurant in Kingdom City until its closing in 2007. Lula Mae was a member of Old Richland Baptist Church and a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved flowers and enjoyed working in her garden. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by one son, John M. Glover (Norma) of Holts Summit; one brother, Ralph Buckner of Springfield, Ill.; three grandsons, John M. Glover Jr. (Michelle) of Rockledge, Fla., Craig M. Glover Sr. of Jefferson City, and Blake M. Glover (Olga) of Las Cruces, N.M.; three brothers-in-law, Russell Glover, Willard Glover (Jesse) and Donnie Glover all of Fulton; two sisters-in-law, Leona Hamilton of Kansas City and Alice Buckner of Mexico; nine great-grandchildren; a very special friend, Eunice Garrett of Kingdom City; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Emma Virginia Glover; two sisters, Kathryn Payne and Hortense Gannoway; and two brothers, Marvin Buckner and Thomas Buckner. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2011, at the Maupin Funeral Home, 301 Douglas Boulevard, Fulton. The Reverend Charles Black will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Maupin Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Callaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fulton. KEELY Harold D. Keely, 81, Centralia, Mo., passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011, at his home. Harold was born March 10, 1930, in Mokane, Mo., the son of the late Alfred and Opal (Beatty) Keely. On January 27, 1952, he was united in marriage to Anita Krebs. Harold served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a Senior Process Analyst for A.B. Chance Co. until his retirement on March 1, 1995. He was a member of the Centralia Masonic Lodge #59, Shriner's International, and American legion Post 1000. He was the Past International Director of The Lion's Club International. A Lion since 1973, he was a member of the Mexico Lions Club where he served as Club President, Zone Chairman, Deputy District Governor and District Governor. He also served on several Multiple District committees and six years as a member of the Board of Directors of the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation. For his contributions, he received a Membership Key Award, the 100% District Governor's Award, the International President's Award and the Ambassador of Goodwill Award, the highest award presented by the Association. In addition to his wife Anita of 59 years, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by one son, Kevin Keely and his wife Vicky of Louisiana, Mo.; one daughter, Cynthia Reams of Columbia, Mo.; one brother, Jerry Keely of Jefferson City, Mo.; five grandchildren Erin, Kristi, Michelle, Derek and Bradley; one great- grandchild, Reggie; other relatives and many dear friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, Mo. Interment will be in the Mokane Cemetery in Mokane, Mo. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, Mo.
