Mathilda May Gilmore-Holmes, 87, of Jefferson City, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011, at Golden Living Center in Jefferson City. She was born November 27, 1923, in Duluth, Minnestota, the daughter of John and Irene Reinertsen. She was married to Alfred L. Gilmore and later to Warren W. Holmes. She is survived by two sisters, Alvida Fogg of Standish, Maine and Patricia Rogers of Dodge City, Florida; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Jordan of Jefferson City and Alien Gilmore of Guthrie; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both husbands, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16, at Debo Funeral Home in Fulton with Pastor Bruce Williamson officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Mathilda's name to the American Cancer Society, c/o Debo Funeral Home, P.O. Box 818, Fulton, MO 65251.
