James Russell "Rusty" Sheley, 60, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011, at Callaway Hospital. He was born on November 3, 1951, in Fulton, the son of the late Omer Sheley and Norma (Curtis) Hardin, who survives his passing. Rusty was the owner and donut maker at Rusty's Bakery for 14 years. He enjoyed fishing, going to the races, and motorcycle riding. In addition to his mother, Rusty will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Matt Sheley of New Bloomfield and Adam Sheley and wife Jayme, of Lancaster, Ohio; two sisters, Sara Van Norman of Fulton and Gloria Adams and husband Don, of Fulton; two half-brothers, Jeff Sheley and Doug Sheley of Fulton; and four grandchildren, Kandon Sheley, Malarie Sheley, Kelci Sheley, and Cooper Sheley. In addition to his father, Rusty was preceded in death by a half-brother, Greg Shaon. There will be a private family service at a later date under the direction of Maupin Funeral Home.
