Jane Christine Hartman

Jane Christine Hartman, 101, of Fulton, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011, at her home. She was born on August 28, 1910, in Wishek, North Dakota, the daughter of Matthew Olson and Myrtle (Keckeveot) Olson. On February 28, 1927, she was united in marriage to Leroy Hartman, who preceded her in death in 1979. Jane was a laborer in a factory and worked in the Davenport, Iowa area for several years. In addition to working in Davenport, she worked in Lansing Iowa at the Lansing Button Factory. Jane also worked alongside her husband in their commercial fishing business. Jane will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters: Sharon Infield and husband Frank of Fulton, and Lois Meyer of LeClaire, Iowa; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by one son, Zeblun Hartman, two brothers and five sisters. The family will have a private service at a later date.
