Gordon L Daedlow

Gordon L. Daedlow, 82 of Eldridge, Iowa. passed away Saturday, December 3, 2011, at Presbyterian Manor in Fulton, Mo. He was born March 25, 1929, in Nichols, Iowa, the son of Rudolph and Irma (Lee) Daedlow. He was united in marriage to Betty Jean Sweney on March, 25, 1948, in Mediapolis, Iowa. They celebrated their 63rd anniversary earlier this year. Gordon received his education at the University of Iowa. He worked as a heat treat staff engineer for Caterpillar, Inc. Along with his wife, he will be fondly remembered by three sons, Nick Daedlow and special partner Crystal Reynolds of Independence, Ia., Mike Daedlow and wife Anni of Warroad, Minn., and Chris Daedlow and wife Jody of Columbia, S.C.; one daughter Eloise Blattner and husband John of Fulton, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
