Chance Patton

Chance Patton, 39, of New Bloomfield, passed from this life on Sunday, August 28, 2011, at his home. He was united in marriage on January 12, 1993, in Linn Creek, Mo. to Danette D. Bias, of the home. Chance attended schools for welding and trucking and worked as a maintenance technician for elementary schools in New Bloomfield and Fulton. Chance will be remembered for his sense of humor and his love of family and friends. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Chance is survived by his children, Tony Patton of the home, Dakota Patton, Cheyenne Patton and McKenzie Hilton, all of Kansas; one grandson, Wesley Buckner; along with several other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, at 3 p.m. at Evangelical Free Church, Macks Creek, Mo. (located behind Davis Baskets). The family will receive friends for visitation from 2-3 p.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be at Big Niangua Cemetery in Roach, Mo.
