Aline Elizabeth Gilmore

Mrs. Aline Elizabeth Gilmore, age 84, of New Bloomfield, died Saturday, August 27, 2011, at her home. She was born May 8, 1927, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Elva Forbis and Edna (White) Forbis. She married Raymond P. Gilmore on March 6, 1943. He preceded her in death on March 23, 1995. Mrs. Gilmore worked as a homemaker for many years. She will be sadly missed and remembered by one son, Eddie Ray Gilmore (Bertelle) of New Bloomfield, and one daughter, Doris Fay Frasher (Bob) of Holts Summit; four grandchildren, Theresa L. Whittenberg of Holts Summit, Angela D. Archer of Holts Summit, Alicia A. Holland of New Bloomfield, and Robbie Frasher Jr., of Holts Summit; and step-grandchildren, Carol, Bertelle, JoAnn, Frank, Mark, Jim and Joseph; 26 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne Forbis of Ashland. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Elmer Forbis; and two sisters, Dona Little and Nadine Gilmore. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Dry Fork Cemetery in New Bloomfield, with the Reverend Doctor Lewis Curtis officiating.
