The Lady Hornets slipped to 1-2 overall following a 25-8, 25-8 home loss to the Lady Pintos on Tuesday night.
Eighth-grade outside hitter Mariah Reed topped FMS with four digs and eighth-grade defensive specialist Brooke Narancich contributed two. Eighth-grade outside hitter Mackenzie Wilson added four aces.
The Lady Hornets (1-2) also bowed in the "B" match 25-20, 21-25 and 15-12. Eighth-grade middle hitter Brooke Garrett recorded two kills and seventh-grade outside hitter Emmy Begemann provided two digs.
Seventh-grade middle hitter Chloe Schwinke and seventh-grade outside hitter Peyton Moore chipped in with eight and six aces, respectively.
FMS plays at Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. Thursday.
