High school track and field: Pittman, Fulton girls take fourth place at Osage

OSAGE BEACH - Freshman Nykiah Pittman came in second in three events as the Lady Hornets finished fourth as a team at the Osage Invitational on Tuesday night.

Pittman was second in both the 100 and 200 meters with respective times of 12.81 and 27.38 seconds, and took second in the long jump at 15 feet, 11 inches as Fulton collected 54 points.

Pittman also joined with freshman Kyela Macon and juniors Allison Murphy and Judy Nguyen to finish second in the 400 relay (:54.34).

Murphy came in fourth in the 200 (:28.87) and freshman Zoee Schuster was fourth in the high jump (4-8).

In the boys' division, Fulton freshman Ian Poore took fourth in the 200 (:24.16) and senior Canyon Milligan placed fourth in the 3,200 (11:38.78). The Hornets placed 10th as a team with 29 points.

Osage and St. James secured the girls' and boys' team titles with 165.5 and 123.3 points, respectively.

Fulton competes at Mexico at 3:30 p.m. today.
