Girls' golf: New Bloomfield takes second at Centralia meet

CENTRALIA - Sylvia Moss came in second individually with a 49, one shot behind the medalist, as the Lady Wildcats finished second in a quad meet with host Centralia, Paris and Columbia Hickman on Tuesday.

Kara Beckett provided a 55 for New Bloomfield as it posted a 230 team total at Centralia Country Club. Jazmine Golden added a 61 and Megan Saleny contributed a 65.

Centralia took first place with a 204, Paris was third behind the Lady Wildcats with a 248, and Hickman came in fourth with a 255.

New Bloomfield played in the Southern Boone quad on Wednesday. Results were not available at press time.

The Lady Wildcats play in the Westran Tournament at Heritage Hills Golf Course in Moberly starting at 8:30 this morning.
