Cross country: South Callaway's McDonald comes in fourth at Fatima

WESTPHALIA - Senior Daniel McDonald took fourth in the boys' varsity division in 18 minutes, 12.22 seconds to guide the Bulldogs to a fourth-place team finish at the Fatima Invitational on Saturday.

In the girls' varsity division, South Callaway freshman Raegan Brown was 11th in 23:52.93. The Lady Bulldogs did not field a complete team.

Sophomore Dustin Russell came in 18th in 19:31.83 as the South Callaway boys compiled 141 points. Sophomore Raife Evans placed 32nd in 20:30.45, junior Nathanael Shuler finished 38th in 21:19.43, and freshman Seth Elley took 50th in 21:39.87.

Freshman Lydia Kaszas was also 35th in 28:29.40 for the South Callaway girls, while sophomore Kendall Dillon came in 38th in 28:54.76. Sophomore Lydia Gunn placed 43rd in 30:21.43.

Host Fatima swept the girls' and boys' team championships with 16 and 34 points, respectively.

In the boys' junior varsity division, South Callaway senior Austin Loucks finished 19th in 36:32.76.

South Callaway competes in the Class 2, District 4 championships at Hermitage next Saturday.
