NEW BLOOMFIELD - Senior forward Jak Kitchens was a recent first-team selection for the Wildcats on the 2017-18 all-Show-Me Conference boys' basketball team.
New Bloomfield junior guard Jalen Martin was named to the all-SMC second team, while senior guard Kyle Emerson was an honorable-mention pick.
Kitchens and Martin were both chosen to the Class 2, all-District 8 squad and New Bloomfield's Tim Gilmore was selected coach of the year. The ninth-ranked Wildcats finished the season with a 21-7 record after falling to No. 5 Harrisburg 74-67 in the District 8 title game Feb. 24 in New Bloomfield.
