MEXICO - Channing Totta finished with nine points as the Lady Hornets battled past the Lady Bulldogs on Thursday night.
Alexis Raebel and Calli Ballard contributed seven points apiece for FMS, while Quiara Walton scored six.
The Lady Hornets dropped the seventh-grade game to Mexico 37-27. Haley Langdon produced 11 points, followed by Kier Henderson with eight.
FMS hosts Black Hawk Middle School of Warrenton at 10 a.m. Saturday.
