Jr. High Softball: Lady Hornets go winless at Troy South

MOSCOW MILLS, Mo. - The Fulton Lady Hornets dropped both contests to the Lady Titans Thursday night.

Troy South won the first game 14-4. Kara Schoening got the start for Fulton and finished with three strikeouts, while first baseman Alex Trowbridge went 2-for-3 with a triple and RBI.

In the second, the two teams only played for two innings due to Troy South's field lacking lights. Fulton bowed out 2-1 despite two strikeouts from pitcher Marah Walley and a RBI and triple from catcher Brooklyn Talbot who went 1-for-1.

Fulton will travel to play Hallsville at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
