Jr. High Football: North Callaway (8th) 28, Bowling Green 22

BOWLING GREEN, Mo. - Trevor Ray tallied 265 yards of total offense and scored four touchdowns as the North Callaway Thunderbirds bumped off the Bowling Green Bobcats for their first win Tuesday night.

Ray rushed for 175 yards and three scores, and had 90 yards receiving and a touchdown. Payton Olsson passed for 135 yards and the one score.

North Callaway (1-1) used a pair of defensive stands late in the game to preserve the victory.

The Thunderbirds (0-2) were shut out 38-0 in the seventh-grade game. Trenton Jones recorded two sacks.

North Callaway hosts Hallsville at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
