CHAMOIS, Mo. - Senior Nicole Emmons was responsible for 30 digs and five kills Tuesday night in helping steer the North Callaway Ladybirds to a 25-14, 24-26, 25-15 and 25-22 triumph over the Chamois Lady Pirates.
Senior Sydney Harrison added 29 digs and three kills for North Callaway, while junior Ariana Kuschel also provided five kills. Senior Madison Davis and junior Kathryn Ziese accounted for 24 and 13 digs, respectively.
"The girls did really well. They fell into a slump but were able to pull themselves back out and get the win," Ladybirds head coach Kayla Peterson said. "They played really hard and are doing really well at playing like a team."
North Callaway hosts Centralia at 5:30 p.m. today and then plays in the Hallsville Invitational on Saturday.
