Third baseman Alex Trowbridge went 2-for-3 with a double and four runs batted in as the Fulton Lady Hornets eased past the South Callaway Lady Bulldogs in five innings at the high school athletic complex Tuesday night.
Left fielder Kylea Macon was 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBI for FMS (5-1). Pitcher Emily Clark struck out four to earn the victory.
Pitcher Marah Walley threw a one-hit shutout and struck out seven as the Lady Hornets' seventh- and eighth-grade combo team downed SCMS 5-0.
Center fielder Zoee Schuster finished 2-for-2 with a triple for FMS (2-1).
The Lady Hornets play at Troy South at 5 p.m. today.
