RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. — Senior Nicole Emmons' staggering 30 digs, three kills and three aces paced the North Callaway Ladybirds as they swept the Russellville Lady Indians 25-14 and 26-24 on Monday night.
Sophomore Savannah Littlefield topped North Callaway with four kills. Senior Sydney Harrison also supplied 13 digs, two kills and two service aces.
"The girls played well and it showed in the score. We were doing what we've been working on in practice and I'm starting to see a true team," North Callaway head coach Kayla Peterson said. "They're starting to come together as a family.
"It's great to see such a large group of girls play like they're best friends. That's what happened tonight and I'm excited to continue through the rest of the season. I'm honored to be a part of this family."
