MARSHALL, Mo. - The Fulton Lady Hornets closed out the regular season with a North Central Missouri Conference loss to the Marshall Lady Owls on Thursday night.
Junior midfielder Hailie Acton accounted for Fulton's lone goal in the second half off an assist from senior midfielder Gentry Totta.
The Lady Hornets are the fourth seed in the Class 2, District 9 Tournament at Ashland and face top-seeded Southern Boone - ranked eighth in the state - at 7 p.m. Monday.
