Girls' Basketball: Missouri School for Deaf 51, Michigan School for Deaf 19

Senior forward Elizabeth Harrison delivered a game-high 19 points and the Lady Eagles earned their first win of the season by manhandling the Lady Tartans at home Friday night.

Sophomore guard Delanzia Hayes followed with 12 points for Missouri School for the Deaf (1-3) and senior point guard Cheyenne Dickerson chipped in with 11.

"We played an outstanding game - everything we have been working on all season finally came together," Lady Eagles head coach Sydnee Kuster said. " During the game we remained upbeat and just had fun playing basketball.

"I really have to commend the camaraderie on this team. The chemistry is impeccable. I couldn't ask for a better group of ladies to coach."

MSD bounced back after a 43-9 road loss to Community R-6's junior varsity Thursday night. Hayes paced the Lady Eagles with five points and five rebounds.
