Boys' Basketball: Missouri School for Deaf 48, Jamestown (JV) 25

JAMESTOWN, Mo. - Senior forward Scotty Percy tallied a game-high 18 points and eight rebounds to help MSD prevail in a battle against the Jamestown Eagles on Wednesday night.

MSD (2-2) owned a 14-6 lead after the first quarter and went into halftime with a 22-14 advantage. MSD edged Jamestown 8-7 in the third quarter to maintain a 30-21 lead.

Freshman center Mikal Meriwether also provided 10 points and a team-high 11 rebounds for MSD. Senior point guard Ste'Quan Scott scored eight points and recorded a team-high six assists, while senior guard Marcus Smith had eight points and two assists.

Clark Rohrback guided Jamestown with 15 points.

MSD travelled to Community R-6 on Thursday night. Results were not available at press time. MSD plays a pair of home games against Michigan School for the Deaf at 7:30 tonight and Kansas School for the Deaf at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
