NEW HAVEN, Mo. - Junior forward Jak Kitchens knocked down a game-high 32 points to steer the New Bloomfield Wildcats to the non-conference triumph over the New Haven Shamrocks on Tuesday night.
Sophomore guard Jalen Martin also supplied 11 points for New Bloomfield (6-4), which was up 16-9 after the first quarter and carried a 31-23 edge into the break. The Wildcats then outscored New Haven 14-10 in the third quarter to increase their lead to 45-33.
New Bloomfield plays another non-conference game at Centralia at 6 p.m. Friday.
