The Hornets moved their season record to 3-0 by toppling the Pirates in their home and North Central Missouri Conference opener at Roger D. Davis Gymnasium on Tuesday night.

Sophomore Jackson Caswell (120 pounds) and freshmen Eston Dews (126), David Gibson (16o) and Sheldyn Johnson (195) each won their matches by pin for Fulton.

Here are Tuesday night's individual results, by weight class:

138 pounds: junior Tucker Caswell (F) won by forfeit; 145: Brant Whitaker (B) won by forfeit; 152: Charlie Pumel (B) pinned freshman Hunter Hampton (F), 1:54; 160: Gibson (F) pinned Gavin Vollmer (B), 3:17; 170: Jayson Bundy (B) won by forfeit;

182: senior Colton Bristol (F) won by forfeit; 195: Johnson (F) pinned Dustyn Taylor (B), 3:33; 22o: Greyson Mesik (B) won by forfeit; 285: Dalton Williams (B) won by 3-0 decision over junior Tyrese Vaughn (F); 1o6: open;

113: freshman Sam Hrabovsky (F) won by forfeit; 120: J. Caswell (F) pinned Brayden McFarland (B), 1:21; 126: Dews (F) pinned Eric Bundy (B), 2:39; 132: senior Jacob Kern (F) won by forfeit.

The Hornets were coming off a ninth-place finish (249 points) at the Fort Zumwalt North Tournament last Saturday. Hrabovsky captured the title at 113 pounds to guide Fulton, while Tucker Caswell, Bristol and Jackson Caswell each took third at 138, 182 and 120, respectively.

Dews also finished fifth at 126 pounds.

The Hornets travel to Sedalia for duals against host Smith-Cotton and Rock Bridge at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
