MEXICO, Mo. - Junior Kate Pani triumphed in the long jump at 15 feet, 6 1/2 inches as the Fulton Lady Hornets finished ninth at the Ron Whittaker Bulldog Classic last Saturday.
Pani also came in third in the 100 meters in 13.92 seconds as Fulton totalled 29.33 points.
In the boys' division, senior Jared Eliuk took second in the 400 in :51.47 as Fulton placed seventh with 45.5 points. The Hornets' 3,200 relay of senior Tanner Steffen, juniors Gabe Luebbert and Mason Gaines, and sophomore Zach Schwinke finished second in 8:43.91.
Steffen came in third in the 110 hurdles (:17.3) and Luebbert took third in the 800 (2:08.78).
Fulton hosts its Don Dobson Invitational at 4 p.m. Friday.
