MOKANE, Mo. - The South Callaway Lady Bulldogs pounded the St. Elizabeth Lady Hornets in a Show-Me Conference game at home Thursday night.
South Callaway (7-6, 3-0 SMC) tallied three runs in the first and six in the second to go up 9-0. St. Elizabeth came up with two runs in the top of the third and the Lady Bulldogs responded by scoring three in the bottom of the frame.
Senior starter Konnor Arrowood went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double and a run batted in as South Callaway collected 10 hits. Senior shortstop Nicole Horstman was 2-for-4 and senior shortstop Haley Walters went 2-for-2.
The Lady Bulldogs play an SMC game at Iberia at 5 p.m. today.
