Prep Football: Four area teams in Missouri Media Rankings

A total of four area football teams are in the final regular-season Missouri Media Rankings released this morning.

Blair Oaks (9-0) holds down the No. 2 spot in Class 3 to be the highest-ranked team in the area.

Also in the Class 3 rankings is School of the Osage (8-1), which is No. 8.

The South Callaway Bulldogs (9-0) enter the Class 2 rankings at the No. 9 position.

The Jefferson City Jays (5-4) tumbled two spots into a tie for No. 10 in the Class 6 rankings.

The No. 1 teams entering the playoffs are C.B.C. in Class 6, Chaminade in Class 5, Kearney in Class 4, Maryville in Class 3, Lamar in Class 2 and Valle Catholic in Class 1.

These are the final rankings until the end of the postseason.
