North Callaway sophomore Reyna Schmauch is on the move to the state track and field championships.
Schmauch qualified for state by winning the girls' 1,600 meters and finishing second in the 3,200 at the Class 3, Sectional 2 championships last Saturday at Mexico High School. She prevailed in the 1,600 with a time of 5 minutes, 36.3 seconds, and was runner-up in the 3,200 in 12:24.6.
The Class 2 state championships are Friday and Saturday at Jefferson City High School's Adkins Stadium.
