South Callaway's Taylor ties for seventh place in Class 2 golf championships

SEDALIA, Mo. - South Callaway Bulldogs senior Logan Taylor finished in a five-way tie for seventh place in the Class 2 state golf championships on Tuesday at the Sedalia Country Club.

Taylor finished the tournament with a two-day total of 154 to tie with Grant Boudreau from Bishop LeBlond, Jeffrey Norman from Dixon, Chase Venn from Father Tolton and Noah Wilson from Palmyra. Taylor shot a 77 on Monday and had a 77 on Tuesday.

South Callaway junior Blake Parker shot a 173 to finish in a four-way tie for 51st with Garrett Gorder from Strafford, Joshua Greene from Principia and Cree Mullenix from Trenton. Parker shot an 87 on Monday and had an 86 on Tuesday.

Father Tolton's Jack Parker took first with a two-day total of 141 (72, 49), Hank Lierz from Bishop LeBlond came in second with a 145 (74, 71) and Blair Oaks' Tanner Elder finished third with a 146 (72,74).
