NIXA, Mo. - New Bloomfield Wildcats junior Gannon Withers shot a 91 to finish in an eight-way tie for 31st place at the Class 1 state championships Tuesday at Fremont Country Club.
Withers tied with Garrett Fessler from Salisbury, Jase Hughes from Rock Port, Spence Lorch from Advance, Will Prenger from Sacred Heart, Jeffrey Dean Salmon from Hermitage, Cole Smith from La Plata, and Kenny Stone from Sturgeon.
Green Ridge's Peyton Needy took first by shooting a 74. Brian Whitson from Advance finished in second with a 75 and Greenwood's Tony Brandt came in third with a 76.
