College women's golf: William Woods takes 13th at Florida tournament

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Lady Owls posted a 114-over par 978 team score (328-328-322) in finishing 13th at the LadyCat Invitational on Friday at LPGA International.

Freshman Maria Zrodowska came in 26th with a 14-over 230 (76-78-76) to pace William Woods University. Junior Lucy Matthews was 51st with a 239 (84-77-78), while freshman Paige Hawkins tied for 68th with a 254 (85-84-85).

Freshman Krystal Burgtorf followed in a tie for 71st with a 255 (83-89-83).

Barry - sparked by co-medalists Noemie Paré (72-70-68) and Josefina Foa Torres (71-70-69) at 6-under 210 - secured the team championship with an 8-under 856 (289-284-283).

William Woods competes in Missouri Western State University's Holiday Inn Express Invitational on March 18-19 at the St. Joseph Country Club.
