PELLA, Iowa - The Blue Jays were shut out for the fourth time this season as the Dutch produced all three of their goals in the first 7 minutes Tuesday.
Westminster College (1-5) was outshot by Central College (3-5) 22-10, including 10-0 in shots on goal. The Dutch edged the Blue Jays 9-8 in corner kicks.
Westminster sophomore goalkeeper Chase Vogt recorded six saves.
"We came out way too slow and got punished for it," Blue Jays head coach Adam Galla said. "We responded well in the second half, but hopefully we can use that momentum going forward."
Westminster hosts Wisconsin-Whitewater at 7 p.m. Friday.
