The Westminster College Lady Blue Jays volleyball team has been picked to repeat as St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion in a preseason vote by coaches.
Westminster - which logged 78 points in the poll - is coming off a 21-11 overall record last season and a 16-2 finish in the SLIAC, collecting its first conference regular-season title since 1999. The Lady Blue Jays bowed to Greenville (Illinois) College in the championship of the SLIAC Tournament.
Greenville was selected second behind Westminster in the poll, followed by Webster University third and Principia (Illinois) College fourth.
The Lady Blue Jays begin the 2018 season at Columbia College on Tuesday, Aug. 28.
