The Lady Owls were chosen to finish fourth in the American Midwest Conference this season in the preseason coaches' poll announced Monday.
William Woods University logged a 26-9 overall record last season, including a 9-3 mark in the AMC. The Lady Owls posted 16 straight victories during one stretch.
Missouri Baptist University was picked to win the AMC in the preseason poll, followed by Park University second, Columbia College third and William Woods fourth.
The Lady Owls launch their 2018 season at home against Culver-Stockton College at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, at Anderson Arena.
