GREENVILLE, Ill. - Senior designated hitter Mason Price had two hits, including a solo home run, and the Blue Jays topped the Panthers in the opener of Wednesday's SLIAC doubleheader.
Westminster College then erupted for five runs in the top of the first in the second game, but Greenville College took over from there in charging to the 10-run victory.
The loss stopped a six-game winning streak for the Blue Jays, now 12-9 overall and 7-3 in the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Westminster returns home for a doubleheader against SLIAC foe Spalding (Kentucky) University at 1 p.m. Saturday at Saucier Field.
