The WWU Lady Owls pushed their winning streak to 11 matches by sweeping the Lyon Lady Scots in AMC play 25-21, 25-19 and 25-15 at Anderson Arena on Saturday afternoon.
Junior outside hitter Rayleen Rivera sparked William Woods University (13-2, 3-0 American Midwest Conference) with a match-high 13 kills. Senior setter Brittney Engelbrecht logged a double-double with 30 assists and 13 digs.
Sophomore libero Jessica Jensen paced the Lady Owls with a match-high 16 digs and junior defensive specialist Melanie Kala also had 13.
William Woods was coming off a 25-9, 25-23 and 25-15 AMC sweep of Central Baptist (Arkansas) College on Friday night at Anderson Arena.
Junior outside hitter Tory Wiley finished with a team-high nine kills for the Lady Owls, Kala contributed 10 kills and Engelbrecht handed out 24 assists.
William Woods travels to Williams Baptist (Arkansas) College for an AMC match at 7 p.m. Thursday.
