Women's Soccer: Central 4, Westminster 2

The Central Dutch were able to break the Westminster College Blue Jays' three-game winning streak with a three-goal barrage in the second half Saturday afternoon.

The Dutch moved ahead with the game's first goal in the 12th minute, but senior forward Paige Townsend would tie the game with her goal in the 20th.

Sophomore forward Erin Manion quickly started the second with a goal three minutes in to put the Dutch (6-1) back ahead by one. Manion would then find senior midfielder Kallie Holte for fifth goal of the year as she gave the Dutch a 3-1 lead in the 58th minute.

Kaely Fitterling's goal in the 82nd minute would give the Blue Jays (3-2) a slight chance at a comeback, but the Dutch would answer back in just 24 seconds on sophomore Mikaela Erickson's unassisted goal.

Westmisnter will travel to take on Franklin at 4 p.m. Friday.
