Women's Soccer: William Woods 1, Southwestern Christian 0

Freshman forward Aurora Henriksen's goal in the 46th minute was exactly what the William Woods University Owls needed to move back to .500 Sunday afternoon.

Despite holding a 15-4 edge in shots over the Eagles (2-3), the Owls (3-3) were unable to assert their dominance until Henriksen's heroics to open the second half.

Junior defender Shelby Scanlan and freshman Colleen Bayer assisted on Henriksen's goal. She also lead the team in shots with four.

The Owls will begin American Midwest Conference play against Stephens College today in Columbia at 7 p.m.
