College Football: Hanger snags INT

BOLIVAR - Southwest Baptist junior cornerback Cory Hanger had his first career interception Saturday in the Bearcats' 32-9 win against Mississippi College.

Hanger (South Callaway High School) picked off Mississippi College's Mark Ja'Moz late in the third quarter, returning the interception 37 yards to the Southwest Baptist 41-yard line.

Hanger also finished with two pass breakups and two total tackles, including half a tackle for a loss.

Southwest Baptist (1-1) plays Saturday at Indianapolis to open Great Lakes Valley Conference play.
