BELLEVILLE, Ill. - The WWU Lady Owls suffered their fifth loss in a row after being shut out by the Lindenwood-Belleville Lady Lynx in American Midwest Conference play Wednesday night.

Raven Loughridge supplied the match's only goal with less than 27 minutes to play for Lindenwood University-Belleville (3-3-1, 2-0-1 AMC).

William Woods University (1-6-1, 0-3) was easily outshot by the Lady Lynx 24-5, including 15-4 in shots on goal. Sophomore goalkeeper Rebecca Sturgess registered 12 saves for the Lady Owls.

William Woods hosts AMC foe Williams Baptist (Arkansas) College at 10 a.m. Saturday.
