Men's Soccer: Park University 2, William Woods 1

The WWU Owls suffered their second straight loss after Tim Kloster's unassisted goal in the 103rd minute sent the Park University Pirates to the AMC overtime triumph Monday night at Firley Field.

Park (7-5-2, 6-4 American Midwest Conference) took an early lead on Nicolas Andre's goal in the 31st minute. William Woods University (10-6, 4-5) pulled even at 1-all and forced the extra period when junior forward Rodrigo Alves scored in the 66th minute off a shared assist by senior midfielder Lendell Louis-Jacques and freshman defender Satchel Manley.

The Owls bowed despite outshooting the Pirates 21-17, including 10-8 in shots on goal. Park had a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Junior goalkeeper Conor Cable logged five saves for William Woods.

The Owls travel to St. Louis for an AMC match against Harris-Stowe State University at 3 p.m. Thursday.
