The Tigers, ranked 16th, start a best-of-3 series with No. 2 Michigan at 2 p.m. today (ESPN-TV) in Ann Arbor, Mich.
Game 2 is set for 11 a.m. Sunday (ESPN-TV) with the potential Game 3 scheduled for 2 p.m. (ESPNU-TV). The winner advances to the Women's College World Series June 2-8 in Oklahoma City.
Missouri got to this point by dominating the Columbia Regional, outscoring its opponents 26-0.
Since the current format began in 2005, Washington (2014) is the only other team to record three run-rule victories to win a regional title.
Amanda Sanchez led the Tiger bats, hitting .750 with a hone run and six RBI. Emily Crane also drove in six runs with a .714 batting average.
Pitcher Paige Lowary tossed complete-game shutouts in all three regional games.
This is Missouri's eighth appearance in the Super Regional, going 7-9 with three titles.
The Wolverines are making its 11th Super Regional appearance in 12 years.
Michigan, which defeated Missouri 13-0 earlier this season, leads the nation in scoring (8.31) and on-base percentage (.466).
