Beginning July 16, the Missouri Highway Patrol Troop F will have a few new faces on the road, according to a Highway Patrol news release.

"We are excited to see these new troopers in Troop F and we all wish them success and safety in their new career," Troop F public information officer Sgt. Scott White said. "Now that they have graduated the academy, the work really begins. They will be training with an experience officer for 85 working days before they will be working by themselves."

Of the brand-new troopers who graduated in the 105th Recruit Class on Friday, three were assigned to Troop F, which is based in Jefferson City and patrols in counties including Callaway. One of the new Troop F recruits is a Callaway County resident.

Trooper Jacob C. McKinney lives in Tebbetts and has been assigned to Zone 15, which serves Callaway County residents.

Trooper McKinney graduated from Jefferson City High School. He then graduated from Columbia College with a bachelor's degree in general studies.

McKinney previously served active duty in the United State Marine Corps, in Camp Pendleton, California. He currently serves in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. His field training officer will be Corporal Jonathan A. Cluver, and his zone supervisor will be Sgt. Ryan S. Thompson.

The other two newly minted troopers are Kalen S. Linneman and Philipp J. Vroegop.

Linneman, of Huntsville, has been assigned to Zone 7, which includes Cooper and Howard counties. Linneman graduated from Westran High School in Huntsville. He then graduated from Central Methodist University in Fayette, with a bachelor's degree in athletic training. He also attended Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg and earned a master's degree in exercise and sports science.

He was previously employed as an athletic trainer at Midwest Bone and Joint, in Macon. Trooper Linneman's field training officer will be Trooper Anthony M. Richerson, and his zone supervisor will be Sgt. Derrick R. Powell.

Vroegop, a resident of Waynesville, has been assigned to Zone 9, which serves the residents of Montgomery County.

Vroegop graduated from Waynesville High School in Waynesville. He went on to graduate from Ozark Technical Community College. He was previously employed by U.S. Securities in Springfield. Trooper Vroegop currently serves in the Army National Guard. His field training officer will be Trooper Zachary A. Czerniewski, and his zone supervisor will be Sergeant Mark G. Broniec.

"One of the new troopers in Troop F has a master degree and the other two are in the military (reserves)," White said. "We all come from different backgrounds, but have the same desire to serve our state."
