Fulton man arrested for Poston Drive burglary

A Fulton man was taken into custody Sunday after allegedly stealing furniture, electronics and other household items from a Poston Drive residence earlier that day.

The Fulton Police Department responded to a report of the burglary at 840 Poston Drive at about 5 p.m. Sunday. A press release from the department states an investigation led officers to believe their suspect was Madison C. Taylor, 50, of Fulton.

The release states officers located Taylor and found he was in possession of the property stolen from the home. He was charged with second-degree burglary, felony stealing, resisting arrest for a felony and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also taken into custody for a Callaway County failure to appear warrant on a traffic offense.

Taylor was taken to the Callaway County Jail on $31,000 bond.
